Portsmouth Football Club hosted a special charity match at Fratton Park to honour club icon Alan Knight MBE and to raise funds for several Prostate Cancer Charities.
I was honoured to lead the art direction and design for the promotion posters and matchday programme for the event. The match itself was a resounding success, drawing over 6,000 fans and raising almost £40,000 to support the charities. It was a privilege to be involved in such a meaningful event, helping to honour a club icon whilst supporting fantastic causes.
THE BRIEf
To create a visual identity for the Alan Knight MBE Charity Match which celebrated the Portsmouth FC icon's legacy. The project included creating a special promotional poster for the event, which also featured on the players' warm-up shirts prior to kick-off.
Additionally, the project extended to designing and editing a special matchday programme, which provided fans with a memento and insight to the players and celebrities taking part.
