Portsmouth Football Club hosted a special charity match at Fratton Park to honour club icon Alan Knight MBE and to raise funds for several Prostate Cancer Charities.
I was honoured to lead the art direction and design the promotional posters and matchday programme for the event. The match itself was a resounding success, drawing over 6,000 fans and raising almost £40,000 to support the charities. It was a privilege to be involved in such a meaningful event, helping to honour a club icon whilst supporting fantastic causes.
The brief was to create a visual identity for the Alan Knight MBE Charity Match which celebrated the Portsmouth FC icon's legacy. The project included creating a special matchday programme and poster, which also featured on the player's warm-up shirts before the match.
The matchday programme featured key information for the match including player profiles on the players and celebrities taking part — a perfect memento for the supporters.
