The Atoll Arms is intended to be a vital retreat for personnel stationed on the remote atoll of Diego Garcia. My goal was to create a 'home away from home' by blending professional hospitality with a relaxed beach club aesthetic. The centrepiece of the identity is a unique line-drawing logo, featuring a continuous line that forms a palm tree - a symbol of connectivity and the island's natural beauty. 

I paired a clean sans-serif and elegant serif typography with a series of sea creature graphic elements. This visual language, combined with a sun-drenched colour palette, moves away from institutional design to embrace a warm, coastal vibe. The result is a cohesive brand that provides a genuine psychological escape for those serving in the heart of the Indian Ocean.
